Κείμενο: | The Office for Economic and Commercial Affairs of the Embassy of Greece in Bucharest, jointly with the Athens Chamber of Commerce and Industry organized a successful business Forum, followed by B2B meetings on 24th May 2018 at Novotel Bucharest. 17 prominent Greek entrepreneurs, active in the fields of pharmaceuticals, cosmetics, solar energy, aquaculture and construction materials, as well as representatives of Attiko Metro SA participated in the mission with the intent to establish partnerships with local companies. The event was also supported by Hellenic - Romanian Bilateral Chamber of Commerce, the Union of Romanian Chambers of Commerce, as well as Bucharest Chamber of Commerce. The business mission, coordinated by Mr. Nikolaos Sofianos, ACCI member and head of the SE Europe department of the Chamber, was led by foreign ministry’s Secretary General for International Economic Relations and Development Cooperation, Mr. Ioannis Brahos. It constitutes one more common initiative of the Greek MFA with the private sector to enhance the extroversion of Greek enterprises and strengthen their presence in SE Europe. According to the evaluations of the entrepreneurs who participated in the delegation, the Forum and B2B meetings between the 17 Greek and 70 Romanian companies were very fruitful, since they provided a fertile field for networking, giving them the opportunity to explore fields for potential synergies and enabling them to make the first step towards their entrance in the Romanian market. |
